- Daily: Vacuum or dry sweep to remove grit. Grit underfoot causes surface wear over time.
- Damp mopping: Damp mop as needed. Wring the mop thoroughly no pooling water. Wipe up spills promptly, particularly at plank joins.
- Cleaning products: Use pH-neutral floor cleaner. Avoid bleach, solvent-based, or abrasive cleaners.
- Furniture: Use felt pads under all furniture legs. Lift rather than drag when moving furniture.
- Entry points: Place mats at external doors to trap grit and moisture.
- Sealing: No annual sealing required. The WEARTOP® factory finish is maintenance-free. Optional varnish can be applied at joins for extra moisture protection in kitchens.
Made in Portugal by Granorte from sustainably harvested cork bark. No cork trees are felled. The bark regenerates every nine years. Stocked products may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they are unused, unopened, and in resaleable condition. Special-order products, including all Recolour floors and selected Naturals, are non-refundable once ordered unless faulty, damaged, or not as described.
